Getting started
What does the free demo include?
Everything. You can set up screens and spots, films and showtimes, prices and add-ons, and staff, and run test sales and gate check-ins end to end. Test sales use test payments, so no money changes hands. Your theater stays private (only you and your staff can see it) until you go live. There's no time limit and no card needed.
How do I go live?
When your theater is set up, ask to go live from your theater's manage page. We review it, then your theater is listed publicly and starts selling real tickets. Test tickets from the demo are cleared out.
What do I need to sell tickets online?
Your screens with their spots laid out, ticket prices, and showtimes. Ticket money goes to your theater; card processing is handled by our payment processor.
Pricing and billing
How much does it cost?
The Standard plan is $__ per screen, per month, billed only for the months your season is open. There are no per-ticket fees from us. See Pricing for examples.
What counts as "in season"?
Each calendar month your season touches, from the month you open through the month you close. If you don't set a season, you're billed every month.
Do you take a cut of ticket sales?
No. The card processor charges its usual fees on each sale, but we don't add a per-ticket fee.
Can I cancel?
Yes. See the Terms of Service for how cancellation and billing work.
Tickets and the gate
How do guests get in?
Every ticket comes with a QR code and a 4-character gate code, emailed on the receipt and shown under My tickets. Your gate staff scan the code or type the gate code, see the spot and screen, and check the car in.
Can I sell tickets at the gate too?
Yes. Staff with the gate permission pick the showing and a spot, take the card on the terminal, and the car is checked in. Gate sales and online sales share the same lot, so a spot is never sold twice.
Can a ticket be used another night?
No. A ticket is good for its showing only; the gate flags tickets for another date or ones already used.
What about refunds and bad weather?
Sales are final, including for weather, and that's stated at checkout and on every receipt. Refunds aren't supported yet.
Your data
Who owns my theater's data?
You do. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and how it's used.
Do you store card numbers?
No. Only the card brand and last four digits are kept on a ticket.
